We were burned out and stuck – then we found a better way to get back to our best selves.
We Needed a Break
We spent years building careers — 6 years of running fitness studios, 7 years of pro football and entrepreneurship.
Then it hit us; emails, zoom calls, daily stand-ups, and endless to-do lists were squeezing the oxygen out of life.
The Break Worked
After a few days of beach workouts, sunset yoga, fresh meals, and surfing, it clicked: the weights were off, the spark was on. We realized that work doesn’t change when we go on vacation… but we do.
We Tried it With Friends
Erin, our fearless leader, had a simple thought: “These are all the things that make us happy—why wouldn’t they work for others?” So, with our BFF Nicolina, she planned the first SALTY trip to the Costa Rican rainforest. We brought friends, welcomed a few brave strangers, and 30 smiling guests later, it was clear: the spark wasn’t just ours to keep. SALTY was born.
Why it Works
Because happiness is the goal, and balance is the way to get there. Maybe you’ve done the late nights in Miami, a group Airbnb in Tulum, or poolside at an all-inclusive resort. They’re fun— until they leave you needing another vacation. SALTY is different: an adventure that balances fun, fitness, and good people who value the same things as you, so you fly home feeling better than when you left. That’s here, that’s SALTY.
Our Recipe
We plan it all, so you don’t have to. Just show up, sweat (as much as feels good), swim, maybe surf, eat, laugh, and (please) dance. This isn’t just about pressing pause on life back home— it’s about returning lighter, recharged, and with a vacation glow that lasts.
